[Is Okitadami opening this w/end]

It was to good to be true and there I was getting excited. Well i guess i'll be climbing up rather than boarding down a mountain this weekend.

[Is Okitadami opening this w/end]

I have heard a rumour a tried to decipher from TV that Okitadami is opening on the Friday for the holiday, can anyone confirm or deny this??

[Wide Boards]

Due to having very large feet, i have no real choice but to use a wide board. After buying a board last year in Japan which strangely enough was not wide. I spent a long and extremely fun season dragging my toes through the snow. When things started getting a little sticky/lumpy corrogated the occasional over extension caused me to fall into new and unheard of potentially kama-sutric positions. Having just invested in a Burton Floater 163 i am very excited to get that bad boy on the slopes.

 

I am interested more to satisfy my increasing desire for this winter to get going again so i can get back to baording and shovelling snow every morning, in how other folks with similar issues have found their wide boards if they have a favourite, the expression on japanese kids faces when they see your boots.

 

Can anyone confirm that Okitadami is opening on the 23rd as that is the information i have.
