  1. If you have the money, might as well buy the wifi backpack. That way you don't have to keep looking at it to make sure its doing what you want. Also, there's a free app, which allows you to preview your shots on your phone/tablet (using the wifi backpack).

Wouldnt bother with WIFI unless you only want about 5seconds of video before the battery dies, Deffs have a Battery Pack and spare Battery. I change mine at lunch and it works out good for me, I dont turn mine off i leave it on a just record when ive strapped in. If you a boarder DONT even think about a cheasty unless you want to remember what the side of the gromers looked like, they work OK in the trees.i dont use the 3m mounts as to many of my mates have lost gopros in the snow from using them. I used a combo of head mount on a helmet (and on beanie if i was feeling rebelious) and a gopole, seams to have worked. just editing the mountain of video now.

  2. On a couple of occasions now, I fully charged my gopro battery the night before, popped the gopro in my bag and arrived at the ski area the next day to find the battery almost completely flat! Im not sure the explanation for that - perhaps it was accidentally switched on when packed down into the bag? Anyway, to avoid this I now take the battery out of the gopro completely and pop it back in when I'm ready to use it at the ski area. In any case, definitely pick up a spare battery or two - I didn't get the official gopro one, just some cheap thing from Yahoo Auctions and it works fine - they are hardly a lot to carry around.

I had that once, i found out that sometimes after you take it off charge it sometimes turns itself on, dunno why, usually happens after the battery died and then i recharge and take off...

  3. Straya day is the only time I have seen a fight in Japan other than sumo's going at it.

    Haha do tell.

Arrived in Australia (Niseko) United on Australia day to see two aussies beating the crap out of each other at 9pm out the front of Tamashii Bar, and one of their girlfriends was hysterical screaming at them to stop. It stopped alright when one of them kicked the other one in the head whilst he was down.

Top notch advertisement for Australians travelling there... From that point onwards, my girlfriend renamed Niseko "Snow Bali".

Haha i feel so much better about being there for straya day, My inner demon can come out.

  4. Soundhound - hold your phone next to the radio, tv, stereo etc and Soundhound will identify the song playing and the artist and the album name - well I know it works in English, don't know about other languages.

It is fricking amazingly accurate across all genre's and years

Get it - try it - thank me later

Shazam Is way better than soundhound, and its free
