  1. In my humble opinion nozawa is shit atm. It needs a lot of snow.

I also dont really like the layout as much as other places I have been to, hopefully it gets better as I get to know the place more.

We just went for a drive to myoko and it looks much better. Around noz tgere is maybe 30cm of snow on the side of the road (if that). In myoko there was well over 1m everywhere and way less people.

Oh man that suxs for nozawa I am going there in February I hope there is some dumps.

I went to hakuba last year and loved it, but everyone was telling me there is lot more snow nozawa and myoko..

  2. I am not sure if this is the right place for this topic, but if its not please move it to appropriate area.

I am looking to buy some anon goggles, this is my problem.

I want to get 2 lenses one for bluebird days and one for partly cloudy days but on anon website there is such a big variety and I am not sure what lens would be the best choice.

If anyone can suggest what the best lens for those days it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

  3. We are going to Myoko in January, last trip we did a "tourist week" in Seoul, ferry back to Osaka and train to Myoko Kogen Station and local bus to the resort. This time we are travelling up the East Coast (where possible) and across to the West Coast then down to Myoko Kogen again, all by train. As I recall, the bus stops pretty damned close to the Windsow, or a very short walk. If you tell the driver, he'll let you off (mostly).

Nozawa Onsen, you'll be off at the station and bus to the resort, might not go quite exactly to your accom, but near enough.

Both good places, you'll have a ball! For rail timetables etc check the JR site. I'll get the link and pm it to you.

Thanks for your assistance JA much appreciated.

  4. get them from your hotel. Almost every hotel in myoko has discount passes or passes plus lunch for super cheap. Hell, if the owner likes you they might even have a season pass or two theyre willing to let you play with :)

Hi thank you very much for that, i might email my resort where i am staying and asked them if i can sort this out before i get there,

    Thanks
