Yes it makes sense to give good customer support. After all, I'll be buying games for it over the next however many years.

Well with mine, you turn the thing on and basically nothing happens - other than the pulsating blue light on the machine. No startup, no signal sent to tv, nothing.
They seem to claim it was due to some kind of shipping issue, but I don't believe that. Mine was packed very well when it came.

I got a PS4. It has the blue light problem. Phoned Sony up, they sent a box, I put it in the box, sent it back, got a new one within 5 days. Good service. New one works.
