OK a food thread, but hey it's something to look forward to when you visit Japan.
Well, unfortunately I just don't really like fish other than some basic fried white fish haha. And seafood ain't my thing either.
So I'm interested to hear what people recommend I should try or look out for when I am in Japan. Meat all ok - not raw! - and pretty much anything else ok.
What do you recommend?
Thanks!

Thanks, actually I can feel a new thread coming on!

I have heard a lot about Japanese food and how amazing it is, so looking forward to giving it a go.
Will I still be ok if I'm not mad on fish and seafood?

Does it get humid in most of Japan btw in summer? How bad does it get?

Thanks for the responses.
Looking forward to visiting.
Awesome website, cheers

I see that Japan seems to be having a really mild sunny spell for quite a while now.
Does this mean that later on in the season will be pretty poor/cut short or does March usually bring some winter back with it?
I'm visiting mid March.

Pretty decent after a few weeks for 10 seasons.
Want to get better though.
First time to Japan coming up.
