Expecting more foreigners on the slopes at Nozawa. They were definitely there, but still most people were Japanese.

[What Are Your favourite On-Mountain Foods]

Got into ramen when we were there.

 

The curry rice often seemed pretty bland. And not hot enough.

We tried Nozawa last season, first time, and loved it and would recommend the place to anyone. Looking for somewhere different next winter though if we can actually afford it!

Been lurking for a bit, since before our trip to Nozawa in January but got a bit of time now and so thought I'd take the plunge and get involved.

 

We took a trip to Nozawa in January - first time in Japan. Loved it. Weather and snow was mixed but we managed some fine days with great snow there. Took a trip out to see the monkeys too. Exchange rates made it more expensive than we originally were planning on but we are thinking of returning in February.
