Who likes coffee in a can?

Was a boarder in the 60's (yeah I am an old bugger)
Took the fin off the 9 foot Mal & hurtled down Bourke St. at Bulla. Novelty soon wore off along with skin wore off - very little control. Experimented with a mini fin, only marginley (spelling?) better. Tried a few other experiments including the first "snowboards" over from the States. Very long, heavy, straight & an effort to get on edge. Gave it away & took up skiing - been at it 40 years on & off.

Thanks Guys, yeah has got me thinking about new skis also.
I currently have Stockli Stormrider xxl's which handle most things here in Oz & were OK earlier this year in Nozawa but some more width underfoot might be good when I head to Shiga Kogen next Feb.

First got my kicks in 66 to 76
Moved North & drifted away.
Born again in 96 & now making up for lost time, hungrier than ever.

Growing up in Victoria, winter surfing & white water kayaking.
Skiing seemed warmer.

Actual for me is 24 days per year.
Target would be for all season in each hemispheres.
The $50 mill lotto drawn in about 30 minutes here in OZ nay help me hit that target.
I have everrey think crosseddd inkluudink my fingetz

Thanks CB, I did find those reviews after your advice
WOW! I can't believe a ski wih that width underfoot can carve like they say. Though being a surfer I can relate to rocker being used to good effect in the pow.
I hadn't heard of PM Gear before, where are they situated?
Love to demo some of their stuff

Can you ski from Okushiga Kogen to Sun valley without having to walk any where?

For those of you lucky enough to live in or have an extended stay in Japan - How do Japanese skis compare to popular European & American brands?
Tell us your thoughts

Mabo-dofu?
is that tofu & meat or Tofu & something else?
-
Yes I think it will be better that weekends at Whistler
The most popular lifts can change from ski straight on to 25 minute wait.
