Fujiten Snow Resort is a ski area located in Narusawa Village on the northern foothills of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture.
It is one of only three ski areas in Yamanashi Prefecture and one of only two on the foothills of Mt Fuji, the other being Snow Park Yeti, which is on the southern foothills in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Fujiten has one quad lift and three pair lifts. The base is at 1,285m, but this region does not get huge amounts of consistent natural snowfall, so the ski area has snow-making machines to use if necessary.
There is a brand new ski lift at Fujiten Snow Resort for the 2025-2026 season. The old quad lift has been replaced by a new quad that is (apparently) the 'fastest in Japan' (5.0m/s).
This ski area opened in 1986 under the name Fujitenjinyama. It changed its name to Fujiten Snow Resort in 2000.

Introduction to the region
Yamanashi Prefecture is located in the Chubu region of the main island of Honshu. It is one of only eight landlocked prefectures in Japan and shares borders with Nagano, Saitama, Tokyo, Kanagawa and Shizuoka.
Yamanashi is also home to many of Japan's highest mountains, including Mount Fuji, which lies on the border with Shizuoka Prefecture.
There are currently three ski areas operating in Yamanashi Prefecture.
Fujiten Snow Resort is just to the north of Mt. Fuji in Narusawa Village and about 15km from the central area of Fujiyoshida City. The others are Kamui Misaka in Fuefuki City and Sun Meadows Kiyosato in Hokuto City in the far north, close to the border with Nagano Prefecture.
