Tengendai Kogen is located in Yoneyama city, to the south of the central city area.
The Yonezawa Hachimanpara IC on the Tohoku Chuo Expressway is just over 25km away.
From the IC exit turn left onto Route 13 and soon at the Family Mart turn left. At the junction you come to quickly turn left and head towards Prefecture Road 2 and then follow that road to the Ropeway base. Note that Prefecture Road 2 continues into Fukushima Prefecture from this point but is closed in the winter months.
There is a free car park for about 300 vehicles by the base of the Ropeway.
