The location of this resort makes it fairly easy to get to from a number of expressways.
It is located just under 11km off Route 48 to the east of Tendo city and to the north west of Sendai city in Miyagi Prefecture.
The ski area is just over 50km from the Sendai Miyagi IC on the Tohoku Expressway, about a 60 minute drive.
From Yamagata Kita IC the journey is about 40 minutes.
Free parking is available for about 1,500 cars at the base of the ski area. There is a covered escalator from the car park to the base area.
