Awasuno is a ski area located in the southeastern region of Toyama City in Toyama Prefecture.
This ski area has two pair lifts and keeps the snow on a few courses ungroomed. There is also a cross-country course by the base.
This ski area first opened in 1960.
There used to be a joint lift ticket with the nearby Tateyama Sanroku ski area, but that is no longer available. (Awasuno and Tateyama Sanroku have never been lift- or course- connected).
The other ski areas in Toyama City are Tateyama Sanroku and Ushidake Onsen in the western region of the city.
