IOX-AROSA is a ski area located on the eastern slopes of Mt Iouzen in Nanto City in the western region of Toyama Prefecture.
The 6-person 1,650m Gondola at IOX-AROSA goes from base to the top of the ski area, and there are five other pair lifts (380m, 380m, 650m, 240m and 410m).
When it opened for floodlit night skiing in 1998, IOX-AROSA was only the third ski area in Japan to operate a gondola lift for nighttime operations. All the courses are accessible during night skiing (usually) until 9:00pm.
The snow on the Yodel Course is left ungroomed.
IOX-AROSA opened in 1990.
