Unazuki Snow Park is a ski area located in Kurobe City in the northeastern region of Toyama Prefecture.
This ski area is within walking distance of the Unazuki Onsen hot spring town area and train station.
There has been skiing in this region since the Taisho era, about 100 years ago. This was the first ski area to officially open in Toyama Prefecture in 1956, and a ski lift was installed in 1965. At the time, it was operated by Unazuki Town (before the town became part of Kurobe City in 2006).
There are currently two pair lifts at Unazuki Snow Park. The 360m Number 1 pair lift takes skiers and snowboarders from the onsen town area to the slopes and back, and it is free to use. It is possible to ski back to base on the winding road course without using the lift. The other ski lift by the main ski slopes is a 314m pair lift.
This ski area used to be known as Kurobe-shi Unazuki Onsen or just Unazuki Onsen. The name was changed to Unazuki Snow Park in 2011.
