Daisen White Resort is a ski area located in Daisen Town in the western region of Tottori Prefecture.
This ski area is on the northern slopes of Mt Daisen, a volcanic mountain with an elevation of over 1700m, making it the highest in the Chugoku region. The mountain overlooks the sea with some fine views on a clear day. There is a cross-country course.
This ski area is actually made up of four connected areas: Kokusai, Uenohara, Nakanohara and Gouenzan. Collectively they have been known as Daisen White Resort since 2010.
After a scaling back of operations during covid, five pair lifts and three triple lifts have been operating in the most recent seasons. There are two other pair lifts used to access the ski area. Those two lifts are free to use.
From the 2026-2027 season, the operation of Daisen White Resort is changing and the new operator is using the name Daisen Mountain Resort. At this stage, however, it is not yet clear whether Daisen Mountain Resort will also become the new name of the ski area itself, or whether Daisen White Resort will continue to be used for the winter operation. SnowJapan will update this information when the situation becomes clear.
