Information status
Not yet updated

Onbara Kogen is a ski area located in Kagamino Town in the northern region of Okayama Prefecture, close to the border with Tottori Prefecture.

It has two connected areas, Panorama and Lakeside, each with a separate base area.

In recent years night skiing was suspended and only the Panorama Area has opened, due to 'ageing facilities'.

In 2024, the three pair lifts of the Panorama Area remain open.

Facilities were damaged from a strong typhoon in August 2023. The Panorama lifts are set to open for the 2025-2026 season, but one run (Panorama Number 1) and a few facilities are closed (due to damage and ageing, according to the ski area).
