Ipponsugi is located off the main onsen road of Yuzawa, just over 300m from the West Exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station. Echigo Yuzawa Station is serviced by the local Joetsu line and the Joetsu Shinkansen bullet train line. Connections to the Hokuhoku line are also available at Echigo Yuzawa Station.

By road

From the Yuzawa IC exit of the Kanetsu Expressway, turn right onto Route 17 and go straight ahead for about 650m to the second set of traffic lights. Turn left at these traffic lights and go straight on this road for about 800m, passing Yuzawa Town Office on the left hand side. Go under the Shinkansen train line and at the T-junction turn right to head into Yuzawa town. Ipponsugi is a further 650m on the left, just over 300m from the West Exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station. The small ski area is set back about 50m off the main road.


There are a few parking spaces available by the ski lift, but it is very limited. Parking is available under Echigo Yuzawa Station.
