Urasa Station is the nearest train station to Hakkai Sanroku and is about 5.5km away. The station is serviced by the Joetsu Shinkansen and also the local Joetsu line.


There is no ski area shuttle bus, but a local bus service stops quite close by.

By road

  • 3.4km from the Yamato Smart IC on the Kanetsu Expressway

  • 14.8km from the Muikamachi IC on the Kanetsu Expressway

The nearest exit of the Kanetsu Expressway is the Yamato Smart IC exit (which can only be used with vehicles equipped with ETC).


From the Yamato Smart IC exit turn right and then quickly right once again onto Prefecture Road 265 and continue for about 1.8km. Turn right onto Route 291 and after about 650m turn left at the signs to approach Hakkai Sanroku.


For cars without ETC, Koide IC is the next closest exit on the Kanetsu Expressway.


Muikamachi IC to the south is about 15km away from Hakkai Sanroku.
