No free shuttle bus service is available but there are local bus services from Chino Station to Nishi Shirakabako (1,500 yen) and then on to the ski area (100 yen). That service usually operates on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.


A taxi from Chino Station takes about 50 minutes.

By road

Blanche Takayama Ski Resort is located to the north of Shirakaba lake and just under 4km off Route 152, otherwise known as Daimon Highway.


From the Suwa IC exit on the Chuo Expressway, turn right onto Route 20 and just over 1.3km later turn left onto Route 152. Follow this road up to and past Lake Shirakaba and follow the signs to the ski area which is signposted off Route 152 to the north of the lake.


There are two main car parks with space for up to 1,500 cars.


The car parks are open 24 hours a day and are free to use.
