MIA is located to the west of central Kiso.
From the Kiso Fukushima central area take Route 361 in a north westerly direction and after about 22km turn left and follow the signs to head towards the ski area using Prefecture Road 20.
It is 60km from the Ina IC and just over 82km from the Nakatsugawa IC exit on the Chuo Expressway.
There are a number of car parks for 1,000 vehicles close to the base of the ski area.
Parking is free every day of the season and the car parks are open 24 hours a day.
