By train and public transport

A free early morning shuttle bus is normally available from Gozain Hall in Zao Town (40 minutes) and Togatta Onsen (20 minutes) in the main season.


A taxi from Togatta Onsen takes about 20 minutes.


A bus service from Sendai Station called Shirokuma-go is also available. Reservations are required.

There is parking for over 3,000 vehicles at the base of Miyagi Zao Eboshi. The parking charge is 1,000 yen on weekends and holidays. It is free on weekdays.
