By train and public transport

There are, however, town operated buses from Shiroishi Zao to Seki (60 minutes) and then from Zao to the ski area (15 minutes).

By road

Miyagi Zao Shichikashuku is located a short distance off Route 113 in Shichikashuku town.


The Kunimi IC on the Tohoku Expressway is 32km to the south-east of the ski area.


Over to the west, the Nanyo Takahata IC on the Yonezawa Nanyo Road is about 24km away.


There is free parking for about 1,500 vehicles at the base of the ski area.
