Hiraniwa Kogen is about 34km from the Kunohe IC exit of the Hachinohe Expressway.

From the Kunohe IC exit, turn right onto Route 340 and head south for just about 25.5km until reaching the junction with Route 281. Turn left onto Route 281. The ski area is just over 7km on the left hand side off Route 281.

There are three car parks for up to 600 vehicles near the base of Hiraniwa Kogen. Parking is free every day of the season.
