Iohzan is a ski area located in Kanazawa City in the central region of Ishikawa Prefecture.
This city-operated ski area is the only ski area within Kanazawa and about 13km southeast of the city's central station area.
It has one 420m pair lift and one 241m single lift. There is parking available along the base area by each ski lift.
The snow on the Challenge Course is usually left ungroomed.
The official formal name of this ski area is Kanazawa Shiei Iohzan.

Introduction to the region
Ishikawa Prefecture is located in the Chubu region of Honshu. The prefecture shares borders with Toyama Prefecture to the east, Gifu Prefecture to the southeast and Fukui Prefecture to the south.
