Shiramine Alpen Kyogijou is a ski area located in the Shiramine Onsen region of Hakusan City in the southeastern area of Ishikawa Prefecture.
This ski area used to be part of a much larger ski area called Hakusan Shiramine Onsen. That ski area opened in the early 1970s as Shiramine Kogen and underwent various changes before closing in 2008. It was well-known for having a Ski Association of Japan (SAJ) approved course that hosted various race events.
In 2011, the two pair lifts in the section that serviced the SAJ course, known as Young Valley, re-opened as Shiramine Alpen Kyogijou. Kyogijou translates as means 'stadium' or 'arena'.
Until recent years, Shiramine Alpen Kyogijou only opened for race events, but it is now open to the general public on days when events are not being held.
An NPO called Shiramine Snow Spot operates Shiramine Alpen Kyogijou and the nearby Shiramine Cross Country Ski Area course.
