Ojiro is a ski area located in Kami Town in the northern region of Hyogo Prefecture.
This ski area has a 2014m 8-person Gondola lift that takes people up to the central area. The base station is at about 280m, and the top station is at 680m. Once at the top of the gondola, the three pair ski lifts (382m, 614m and 588m) service all the ski courses. There is no downhill course back to the gondola base, so you must take the Gondola back down at the end of the day.
Dogs can ride on the Gondola (on the special pet-friendly gondola cabins) to use the Dog Run facility. As long as they are with their owners, of course. (Dogs, be sure to take your owners).
There are a few other ski areas in Kami Town to the south. List of ski areas in Kami.

Introduction to the region
Hyogo Prefecture is located in the Kansai region of western Honshu. It shares a border with Kyoto Prefecture to the east, Osaka Prefecture to the southeast, and Okayama and Tottori Prefectures to the west.
The ski areas in Hyogo are mostly located within Yabu City, Toyooka City and Kami Town in the northwestern region of the prefecture. The popular ski areas are either around Mt Hachibuse or in Kannabe Kogen, a bit further northeast.
There is just one ski area in the south of the prefecture, and it is within the city limits of Kobe. Thanks to artificial snowmaking machines, Rokkosan Snow Park is usually one of the first ski areas in the Kansai region to open each year. It is a small area but within easy reach of central Kobe City.
Ojiro is one of 3 ski areas currently operating in Kami Town.
