This ski area can be approached either from the top of bottom.

It is located about 1.5km off Route 40 (otherwise known as Wakkanai National Highway), to the south of the central area of Wakkanai City.

Shibetsu Kenbuchi IC on the Hokkaido Expressway is about 190km to the south.

There are two car parks for Wakkanai Komadori - one at the base and the other near the top of the ski area.
