Sahoro is located about 2km off Route 38 (Tokachi National Highway).
Arriving from Sapporo and western regions, Tomamu IC is the most convenient exit on the Doto Expressway.
From the Tomamu IC exit, turn right onto Prefecture Road 136 and continue heading north on this road for about 11km until reaching the junction with Route 38 (Karikachi National Highway). Continue on this road for about 16km until reaching the signs for Sahoro Resort on the left hand side of the road. Turn left and follow the road to the ski area base.
From the Tokachi Shimizu IC exit, turn right onto Route 274 (Nissho Toge National Highway) and continue for just under 4km until reaching Route 38. Turn left onto Route 38 and head north for just over 19km until reaching the signs for Sahoro Resort on the right hand side of the road. Turn right and follow the road to the ski area base.
