Shiretoko Shari Station is the closest train station to Shibetsu Choei Kanayama.

It is about 36km to the north west on the northern coastline in Shari Town.

Shibetsu Choei Kanayama is just over 20km to the north west of the central area of Shibetsu city.

From central Shibetsu travel north on Route 244 (otherwise known as the Notsuke National Highway) and follow the road until the turn off for the ski area.

It can be found a few hundred metres off the right hand side of the road.

There is a free car park for 100 vehicles.
