Pippu is a ski area located in Pippu Town in Hokkaido, Japan's second-largest island and the northernmost prefecture.
Abashiri City is in the Kamikawa subprefecture, within the region known as Dohoku ('Northern Hokkaido').
Pippu has three pair lifts (two 617m lifts running in parallel and a 1,181m lift). The old upper 440m single lift has been closed since the 2023-2024 season and will not be re-opening. That lift not operating does not affect available terrain.
There is a simple 150m rope tow lift in the base area.
The ski area is close to the town centre and also within reach of nearby Asahikawa City. On a clear day, fine views of the Daisetsuzan mountain range can be enjoyed.
