Furen is just over 20km from the Shibetsu Kenbuchi IC exit on the Hokkaido Expressway.
From the IC exit, turn right onto Route 40 and head north and go through central Shibetsu. After about 8km turn left and then right again onto Prefecture Road 850. On reaching Road 729 after about 9km, turn left to head towards the ski area.
From central Nayoro, head south on Route 40 and then take Road 729 to Furen.
There is limited parking at the base of Furen.
