Kamifuranocho Hinode is located to the south of Asahikawa city and the closest exit of an expressway is Asahikawa Takasu IC exit on the Hokkaido Expressway.


The Takikawa IC exit on the same expressway is further away but nearer Sapporo, and so is another choice.


The Shimukappu IC on the Doto Expressway is just over 65km to the south of Kamifuranocho Hinode.


Route 237 (also known as the Furano National Highway) runs north to south about 2km to the west of the ski area.


Free parking for about 100 cars is available at the base.
