Meiho is about 30km from Gujo Hachiman Station on the Etsumi Nan line.

There is a free shuttle bus service from Gujo Hachiman Station. The bus leaves the station at 8:35am and the journey takes about 60 minutes.

Various bus tours are available to Meiho from Nagoya, Gifu, Kyoto and Osaka.

By road

Nearest national route: Route 472 (2.2km away)

Meiho is located just over 2km from Route 472 to the north east of central Gujo city.

The nearest exit on the Tokai Hokuriku Expressway is Gujo Hachiman IC (about 30 minutes).

At the Guji Hachiman IC exit, turn left onto Route 156 and after just less than 1km turn left onto Route 256. After about 2km turn left onto Route 472 then continue on this road for about 25km when there are some big blue signs for Meiho. Turn right here and follow the signs to head up to the ski area.

There is parking for 2,550 vehicles by the base of Meiho. The parking charge is 1,000 yen for cars. They are open 24 hours a day. The base Ski Center opens at 6:30am.
