JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort is a ski area in Katsuyama City in the northeastern region of Fukui Prefecture.
Until spring 2025, this ski area was known as Ski Jam Katsuyama and often known as SKIJAM or Jamkatsu.
It is the largest ski area in Fukui Prefecture and one of the larger and more popular in the wider region. Many people at Ski Jam visit from the Chubu and Kansai regions.
The ski area has three main official areas, Variety Site, Fantasy Site and Illusion Site. There are several official tree-run courses in the highest Illusion area, along with a 37-degree slope.
It has three quad lifts (1634m, 1450m, 1390m), one triple lift (368m) and two pair lifts (429m, 209m) and the longest run is 5,800m.

Normal season dates
JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort usually plans to be open from mid-December until early April. See below for the actual opening and closing dates in recent seasons.
Normal opening times
The ski area is normally open from 8:30am until 4:30pm on weekdays and from 8:00am on weekends and holidays.
Night skiing
There is no night skiing at Ski Jam Katsuyama.
Tree run courses
There are usually a few official tree run courses in the upper area.
Families & children
The Be-Kids Park area boasts of being one of the largest in the region. Entry is 1,000 yen for 1 day. It is found in the lower Variety area and normally open from 9:00am until 4:00pm.
Lessons
Ski and snowboard lessons are available at Ski Jam Katsuyama.

The ski areas in Fukui Prefecture are located in the northeastern region of the Prefecture.
JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort is the only ski area currently operating in Katsuyama City.
