The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Hurray! The resort is actually open today after the stormy conditions yesterday, but there's not much to see. Is it still there? Has it been blown away? I can't see it! Fog/'gas'/cloud is completely covering the mountain and pretty much everything else as visibility is down to almost zero. It is a cold morning and light snow falling as well. Moderate winds remain but the resort is open. There is a chance that some lifts might still be affected by conditions today, so checks are advised. Things should soon be clearing up though. Cloud forecast for tomorrow and it might even be sunny at times. If we get a clear day in the next few, will be excellent out there. Those who are here today should be rewarded with fabulous conditions. The transport network isn't 100% back to normal yet and there's even talk of more snow due for Tokyo in the next few days. Here though it seems we can expect clearer conditions once we get past today. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . An early report from me this morning and more snow to report. 5-10cm apparently on the mountain and I can vouch for around 5cm of that here. Visibility getting a bit better this morning. I did say yesterday that we were expecting clearer conditions today. Well, for now I can't say that has happened as it is still snowing lightly with limited visibility. The forecasts do still seem to indicate a clearing up due today though. Not a whole lot of snow on the forecast either for the coming week or so, but we have had some decent snowfall now and so there's lots to play in. With the weather over the last few days and temperatures conditions are spring at the moment. I haven't felt rain falling on me but we have had some rain. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . We are starting the day as we did yesterday with thick fog making it difficult to see anything. It is -1 degrees at 8am. Cloud forecast for the day but some forecasts seem to be hinting at snowfall due later on today. That would be great if it happens. It's not clear to me at the moment but it seems that Powder Wave I, Powder Theater and Adventure Isle are closed, though I am not sure why. I will try to find out. Fireworks tonight! The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . A small delivery of fairly heavy (consistency) snow overnight and 5cm or so on the mountain according to the resort. Less fog this morning as well though the mountain is still covered in cloud so visibility is improved but still limited in places. I dare not mention it just in case it changes but this coming week we might get to see some snowfall on a few days mid week. I will update you on that nearer the time. Better than wet rain for sure, and actually quite big 'flakes' as well just now, and more snow is on the way... hopefully of the more powdery kind. Looking at the forecast, it's looking pretty good actually. Snow every day through into next week? Would be great. Make it happen! If it does happen, we will all be as pleased as people who are extremely pleased with the snow conditions. I'll keep you updated. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Nice. After the not quite as nice yesterday, this morning is a much better picture. 15-20cm or so of night light fluffy snow this morning. The resort is saying 20-30cm in places. It was windy overnight so a lot of snow blown around so difficult to put a number on it. It is still snowing as well so it should be continuing to pile up. It's a bit windy but lifts look like they are planning to all be operating as normal this morning. Much colder too.... like mid winter! Long may it continue (and it does seem we can expect snow for at least the next few days).
