Lots of shovelling going on by people wrapped up well as while it's not as cold as it can get here there's a wind blowing making it feel particularly cold. A few cm on the ground with the resort also reporting 2cm as of 9am. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Some fresh snow to report this morning from Madarao. 15-20cm in fact, according to the resort on the slopes. 10cm or so at base I saw. A fresh layer. A good cold morning as well and so conditions are being maintained. Generally cloudy this morning, but there have been a few times when the clouds have cleared a bit and some sky to see. But mostly the clouds have moved back in quite quickly. The next few days doesn't seem to bring much snowfall with snowy clouds due back from later on Wednesday and into the weekend. Looks like there's a really promising cold front due late in the week. Before that though we might get to see some sun. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . 5cm of fresh snow since early this morning at Madarao Kogen and it's falling nicely now early on so fingers crossed it will pile up. Nice and cold too, -7C. Poor visibility on mountain due to the cloud and snow falling. Tomorrow will probably be clear and sunny, hopefully keeping cold, and then next up in terms of snow is late Wednesday onwards when hopefully we'll be on for a few days of mad snow. On the mountain the resort is reporting up to 30cm in places - actually over 30cm in places - so a decent overnight and start to the day meaning we can forget the wet conditions we had for a time yesterday because they don't matter anymore! Visibility not so good as the mountain is covered in cloud and it continues to snow. Should to at least into tomorrow. Go out prepared and some fine conditions should be found. As did yesterday with the clouds clearing and us ending up with blue skies over the region. Lovely day and great snow conditions. So it's cold and the snow we do have is keeping in good conditions and this morning the sun is out with more cloud than we had yesterday. But it's going to be another fine day. A busy day too with weekenders turning up. One of the busier weekends of the season too, with Monday being a holiday here. It might get busy but conditions are very good. Hope you can enjoy it. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . After some sun yesterday, this morning it's snow. 20-30cm of it according to the resort, 20-25cm on the cars outside to move. And it's another of those very cold mornings. Snow conditions are excellent. The snowfall probably won't last the day today though and then we are on for a few days of clearer skies according to the forecast. It's going to keep cold and so the snow conditions should keep through until the next snow. Less busy this morning but still more people than on a normal Monday.
