It's quite windy this morning and, for now at least, limited visibility. The Super Quad lift is on hold at the start of the day due to the windy conditions. They plan to get that lift moving if the situation allows. Sunny skies and calm are expected tomorrow. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . What a beautiful morning it is. Ski area reporting 10cm since yesterday so there's some fresh to play in. We are expecting things to warm up over the coming days, of course, but it was a cold start to the day today. Hopefully it won't warm up much today. Friday and Saturday look like they'll be the peak for that silliness. I am happy to see on forecasts that from Sunday onwards it will be getting colder again and fresh snow is due. In the meantime, for the next few days, let's enjoy the sunshine. As of 8:30am the snow has eased off and it looks like there might even be a bit of sun trying to break through the clouds. Having said that, the forecast for the day is... snow. The SAWA tree run course area at Madarao is open from today, which is great to see. Hopefully there'll be more of them opening soon.
