The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Wow, I was not expecting this! It almost feels like mid winter. Madarao this morning is reporting an impressive 20-30cm of fresh snow and there's certainly a nice layer of fresh snow on my car as well. All in the spirit of this 'strange season' perhaps! The slopes will have had a right good refresh this morning though so what more can I say? I'm off out to enjoy it. This may well (and very probably) be the last snow of the season as we have clearer weather forecast starting tomorrow, so a few more cm would be excellent. And tomorrow should be fun as well for all you weekend visitors! The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Good morning from Madarao. Can you believe it? Today is the last Saturday of the season here (for Madarao Kogen anyway, Tangram plans to continue on until next weekend). I wish winter went slower. (And there was more snow!!) But anyway, we're going into this last weekend in pretty good conditions thanks to the fresh snow that fell. A few more cm fell after I posted my report before easing off yesterday... and no more snow overnight. This morning the clouds are mostly gone and there's some beautiful blue skies above us and the sun is out doing it's thing. Still cold, but it will warm up a little during the day, and probably a bit more still during the day tomorrow. Lots of sunshine on the forecast right through until the last day of the season for Madarao on Thursday. There's lots of cloud around this morning and some light snow falling with a bit on the ground and the resort reporting up to 3cm as well. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . A little bit more snow since last night - there's just over 1cm on the top of my car outside this morning. Not enough to make conditions 'deep' of course, but good to see all the same and hopefully maybe a little more on the mountain. It's a cold morning as well which is most welcome. From where I am there's a big thick bank of cloud covering the top half of the mountain, but we might even get to see a bit of sunshine later on in the day. Last day of the long weekend today, so it'll be busier than a normal late season Monday out there. Sun is expected tomorrow and then look for the chance of some fresh snow again in the later part of the week. It's a pleasingly cold start to the day and there has just been a slight bit of snowfall with trees looking frosted and very pretty this morning. Might we get a bit more tonight? Possibly if some forecasts are to be believed but I wouldn't be getting to excited about the possibility. Come with some spring riding in mind and you'll be fine! The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Once again, it's blue skies above Mt Madarao this morning. It was a warm day yesterday and it's going to be another warm day today. And tomorrow too when it might rise above 10 degrees! Yikes. There looks like a chance of rain still tomorrow as well but it looks like the forecast on that score is better than it was looking yesterday. Would be great if we could avoid rain. Anyway, back to cold before the middle of next week and happily there's some snowfall on the forecast for mid week. So we can enjoy some spring conditions today with the prospect of some fresh snow next week. Have a good one! The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . A very fine day yesterday. Snow wasn't falling as hard but there was a lot of fresh snow to play in. Nice. Snow clouds still nearby this morning, with light snow currently falling, but it is expected to clear up later in the day. And the day is starting cold so it should be another very good day to be out skiing and boarding. From tomorrow, expect sunshine. And for temperatures to start rising, unfortunately and somewhat annoyingly. It looks like come the weekend it's going to be rather warm again. But we can't do anything about that can we... enjoy the now, and hope something happens to the forecasts. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . YES! A proper good old dump of lovely fresh snowfall this morning greets us. And what a fine sight it is too. It's probably the most we have had in a day this season, or certainly close to it. Brilliant. Madarao Kogen resort is this morning reporting 40-50cm of snowfall. It's cold; there's loads of fresh snow. Conditions this morning should be excellent. What more can I say... Perhaps March is the new January?* (* sadly it looks like things are going to warm up again as we approach the weekend with little snow forecast - make the most of it while you can!) The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Some icy conditions yesterday but we do have some fresh snow this morning here in Madarao, I'm happy to report. There was 3cm of snow on the top of my car and the resort is reporting 5cm of fresh this morning. We could do with more than that, but we'll take it and it will have improved things. It is definitely good to feel a real chill in the air as well this morning and it should be getting colder mid week as well back to mid-winter like temperatures. Snow isn't expected today - cloud is forecast for the day - with more snow due around Wednesday and then the end of the week (which is still looking rather promising, keep an eye on that!) Back to a normal Monday so it should be quite quiet out there. It's going to be a great morning too, as we expected. 20cm of snow on the ground last night and overnight the clouds have cleared leaving us with clear blue skies. Perfect morning to be out on the skis or board, hopefully not warming up too much in the afternoon. Tomorrow is also expected to be sunny and clear but hopefully with snow clouds moving in late on. Saturday is forecast to be borderline rain/snow, and obviously we want to avoid the former. Let's see. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Morning from Madarao where it's just cloudy early on. No new snow to report and it's going to be another of the milder days today. Unfortunately, it is probably going to rain later on, but it will be turning into snow hopefully by the end of the day today and I might be able to report new cm of snow on the ground in my report tomorrow. Looking at the forecast it seems we can expect snowfall most days through the coming week with the best chance of decent snowfall being around Tuesday-Wednesday. Before and after that it might just be light snow that doesn't really give us much in terms of cm. We'll see! Fireworks scheduled for tonight after nighta at Madarao Kogen.
