Wakasa Hyonosen is located in Wakasa town in the eastern region of Tottori Prefecture. The resort is on the western slopes of Mt Hyonosen and very close to the border - and ski resorts - in neighbouring Hyogo Prefecture. There is no connection between the two regions though with the road ending just beyond the ski hill. Juhyo ice-monster formations on the trees are one thing this resort is known for.

Tottori Prefecture is located in the Chugoku region of western Japan. There are a number of ski and snowboard resorts in the Tottori, with most gathered around Mt Daisen in the western region of the prefecture. Wakasa Hyonosen is the only ski hill in the eastern region of Tottori.

2018-2019 SEASON UPDATES
As of Sunday 9th December, we still need to update the information for about 50 ski hills around Japan. They are mostly very small ones and the information can be very hard to find. We are working to get them all updated as quickly as possible... hopefully within the next week!
