Ikawa Skijo Kainayama is located on the north-western slopes of Mt Kaina in the north eastern region of the island of Shikoku. The ski hill is south of central Miyoshi city.
It is actually the only ski hill in Tokushima Prefecture and is one of only a few on the island of Shikoku.
Shikoku is the smallest of the four main islands of Japan and located south of the western region of Honshu and to the east of Kyushu.

Ikawa Skijo Kainayama is normally open from 9:00am until 4:30pm on weekdays and from 8:30am until 4:30pm on weekends in the daytime.
Night skiing is from 5:30pm until 10:00pm, normally on Saturdays in January and February 2021.

On the days when the ski area is open for night skiing, the lifts close from 4:30pm until 5:30pm for maintenance.
A nighta ticket is required to ski or snowboard during the nighta opening times.
Entry to the 'Chibbiko' area for children is 500 yen.
Ladies Day is every Tuesday and Thursday and the third Saturday of the month - one day ticket at the special price of 2,500 yen.
Children's Day is the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month - one day ticket at half price (1,300 yen).
Senior's Day (over 50s) is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday - one day ticket at the special price of 2,500 yen.
