resort map

Iizuna Resort is located on the eastern slopes of Mt Iizuna in Iizuna town, to the north of Nagano city in the northern region of Nagano Prefecture. There are a few ungroomed course areas towards the top of the mountain.

The bobsleigh and luge events of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics were held at the Spiral facility, about 6km to the south of Iizuna Resort. The Iizuna Kogen ski area is about 4km away, but unfortunately it permanently closed a few years ago.

The ski areas in Myoko (Niigata Prefecture) are to the north.
