Fujimi Kogen is located on the south-western slopes of Mt Nishidake in Fujimi town in the eastern region of Nagano Prefecture. This ski hill boasts one of the largest Kids Parks in Nagano Prefecture. Snowboarding is allowed during nighta operations, but apart from that Fujimi Kogen is a skiers-only resort.
Nagano Prefecture is located in the Chubu region of the main island of Honshu. Most of the Northern Alps, Central Alps and Southern Alps are located within Nagano (along with neighbouring prefectures). Nagano has the second highest number of ski and snowboard resorts in all of Japan and they are spread around the whole prefecture. Nagano city and many of the major ski resorts are located in the northern region.
The large 'Kids Land' area is near base and features a sledging area, snow strider (bikes) area. And an 'animal theme park'. There are also (on weekends)... real alpacas... still unconfirmed where they go on weekdays!
There are no special snow park facilities. Note that snowboarding is only allowed during nighta operations at this ski hill.

The 2018-2019 winter season is approaching! Hurray!
At the time of writing more than 60% of the ski hills in Japan have still not updated their own information for the upcoming season. We are continuing to manually update the information on these ski resort pages of SnowJapan but for the moment things are unavoidably a mix of old and new. In most cases ski resorts open and close around the same dates each season, so even if the planned season dates shown on this page are still from the 2017-2018 season, that is usually a good indication of what to expect this time round.

It is very important to us that the information presented on SnowJapan is correct and up-to-date. Checks and updates are made throughout the year. If you find information that you feel needs checking and updating, please let us know by contacting us. We appreciate your support.
