Rusutsu Resort (often known as just Rusutsu) is located in Rusutsu village to the southeast of Mt Yotei in the western region of Hokkaido. The ski area is spread over three areas, called West Mountain, East Mountain and Mt Isola. The famous Niseko ski and snowboard areas are about 30km from Rusutsu by road, on the opposite side of Mt Yotei. Fine views of Mt Yotei can be enjoyed on clearer days.
