Nihonmatsu Shiozawa is located to the east of Mt Adatara in Nihonmatsu city, Fukushima Prefecture and close to the Dake Onsen hot spring village area. It is the most easterly ski hill in Fukushima and not too far from Adatara Kogen, also in Nihonmatsu.
Fukushima Prefecture is composed of three main regions - the Hamadori region to the east (including the Pacific Ocean coastline), the Nakadori region (the central area) and the Aizu region (the Western mountainous region). Many of the ski and snowboard resorts in the prefecture are found on or near Mt Bandai and Mt Adatara to the north of Lake Inawashiro. Most of the others can be found scattered across the western region of the Aizu region or to the south-west of Lake Inawashiro.
A bus service is available that operates from Nihonmatsu Station to Shiozawa onsen with a stop close to the ski hill. The journey takes about 35 minutes.

As of Sunday 9th December, we still need to update the information for about 50 ski hills around Japan. They are mostly very small ones and the information can be very hard to find. We are working to get them all updated as quickly as possible... hopefully within the next week!
