Kita Nikko Takahata is a skiers-only ski area located in Minami Aizu town in the south-western Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture. Until 2021 this ski area was known as Aizu Kogen Takahata 会津高原高畑.

There are four areas to the mountain - Black, Red, Blue and Orange.

Fukushima Prefecture is composed of three main regions - the Hamadori region to the east (including the Pacific Ocean coastline), the Nakadori region (the central area) and the Aizu region (the Western mountainous region). Many of the ski and snowboard resorts in the prefecture are found on or near Mt Bandai and Mt Adatara to the north of Lake Inawashiro. Most of the others can be found scattered across the western region of the Aizu region or to the south-west of Lake Inawashiro.
