Oze Hinoemata Onsen is a small ski hill that really isn't near to any train station or expressway. It is located close to Oze and near to the border with both Gunma Prefecture and Niigata Prefecture, though during the winter months it can only be accessed from the north-east within Fukushima. This ski hill is usually only open on weekends and national holidays.
Fukushima Prefecture is composed of three main regions - the Hamadori region to the east (including the Pacific Ocean coastline), the Nakadori region (the central area) and the Aizu region (the Western mountainous region). Many of the ski and snowboard resorts in the prefecture are found on or near Mt Bandai and Mt Adatara to the north of Lake Inawashiro. Most of the others can be found scattered across the western region of the Aizu region or to the south-west of Lake Inawashiro.
There is no ski or snowboard school at Oze Hinoemata Onsen.
