Yakurai Family is a ski area located in Kami Town in the northwestern region of Miyagi Prefecture.
It is within the Yakurai Garden resort facility and is known by some as Yakurai Garden.
This ski area has one pair lift and features a generally gentle slope. It is popular with local families with young children.
Yakurai had a very difficult 2023-2024 season, only able to open for two days on the 27th and 28th January 2024 due to a lack of snow.
The ski area has been closed since.
