Shokowa Kogen is a ski area located in Takayama City in the northern region of Gifu Prefecture. Shokawa Kogen is in the western region of Takayama, north of the many larger ski areas in Gujo City.

In recent years there were two pair lifts at this ski area, but since 2021 the upper lift has not been operating. So it's down to just one pair now. The base area has a cross-country ski course.

There is a golf course by the base of the ski area outside the winter season, known as Shokawa Kogen Country Club.

In September 2025, it was announced that the ski area will not be opening during the 2025-2026 winter season. There have been no further announcements since then.
