North Nagano Outdoor Sports is an official international ski and snowboard school at Madarao Mountain Resort (known as Madarao Kogen in Japanese) in the northern region of Nagano Prefecture.

Backcountry Tours
North Nagano Outdoor Sports also offers backcountry tours at Madarao. These tours introduce guests to the amazing powder snow and new adventures beyond the ski courses. The tours use the ski lifts at the resort and take you to the top view points of the mountain within 30 minutes. Tours that are suitable for beginners are also available.
