Ninox Snow Park is located in Shibata, just to the east of Niigata City. Just a 20 minute drive from central Shibata City, and a 40 minute journey from Niigata City, and open until 11pm on weekends, Ninox is a popular ski and snowboard resort for people in those cities. The night skiing is a popular feature of Ninox Snow Park.
Planned 2025-2026 season Thursday 18th December 2025 until Sunday 22nd March 2026.
Night skiing until 9:00pm on most Sundays and also on 29th December, 30th December and 1st January 2026.
Night skiing until 10:00pm every Friday and Saturday (and 11th January, 22nd February).
The last night skiing of the season is scheduled for 15th March 2026.

Getting to Ninox Snow Park
By public transport
20 minutes by free shuttle bus from Shibata Station (Uetsu Honsen line). The shuttle bus departs Shibata Station at 8:30am and 9:45am on weekends and holidays (9:15am on weekdays, reservations required); return bus departs from the ski area at 4:00pm and 4:45pm on weekends and holidays (4:30pm on weekdays). Shuttle bus service every day between 21st December 2023 and 24th March 2024.
By car
Ninox Snow Park is a 20 minute drive from the Seiro Shibata IC exit of the Nihonkai Tohoku Expressway, 20 minutes from the central area of Shibata City, and about 40 minutes from central Niigata City (using the Shin Shin Bypass and Route 7) Free car parking on weekdays and for night skiing (1,000 yen on weekends and national holidays).
