Hakuba Norikura Onsen resort is located in the small village of Otari, just to the north of Hakuba village in Nagano Prefecture. The ski area has a fine selection of courses suited to different levels of skier and snowboarder, as well as often excellent snow conditions. It is also popular for teleskiing. The resort has a hotel at the bottom of the slopes (Hakuba Alps Hotel), offering ski-in ski-out access. Hakuba Norikura Onsen is also lift and course connected to the neighbouring Hakuba Cortina ski area and joint lift tickets are available.
