White World Oze Iwakura, also known as Oze Iwakura Resort, is one of the largest ski and snowboard resorts in the Kanto region.
With 16 courses, the resort offers a variety of challenges for differently skilled riders - whether they are skiers or snowboarders, beginners or more advanced. The region is well-known for enjoying light dry powder snow conditions in the peak season which usually starts around mid-December and continues into early April. Two highway bus services to Katashina Village are available, from Tokyo and Takasaki.

Getting to White World Oze Iwakura
Takasaki Snow Liner is a direct bus from Takasaki Station (on the Joetsu Shinkansen train line) to Michi no eki Katashina. The bus leaves Takasaki Station at 8:30am. The charge is 2,800 yen for adults and 1,800 yen for children. From Michi no eki Katashina, a free shuttle bus takes you to the ski area.
Katashina Snow Express is a bus from Shinjuku (Basta Shinjuku) in central Tokyo to Michi no eki Katashina. The bus leaves Basta Shinjuku at 7:15am. The charge is 7,000 yen for adults and 4,000 yen for children return. Half price for one way. From Michi no eki Katashina, a free shuttle bus takes you to the ski area. (Daily service).
